Akhil Akkineni’s Lenin which was supposed to release on June 26th is now postponed to July 10th.
The movie had already suffered multiple postponements and so, this delay has frustrated fans.
Sources say that Thaman is the reason for the postponement. Apparently, there is this concert of Thaman in Hyderabad and so, he sought more time to work on the Re-recording.
The makers had postponed the film by two more weeks as a result.
However, the irony is that the concert that was supposed to happen yesterday was canceled because of rain and gusty winds in Hyderabad.
Lenin is directed by Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha fame Murali Kishor Abburu. Akhil is seen in a rooted film for the first time and is speaking in Chittoor dialect in the movie.
Initially, Sreeleela was the female lead and was replaced by Bhagyashri Bhorse after a schedule. Bhagyashri looks more suitable for the role in the recent promotional material.
Annapurna Studios and Sithara Entertainments jointly produce Lenin.
Nagarjuna is reportedly very confident about the film’s success. It is indeed very important for Akhil Akkineni’s career as it is uneventful without a success so far.
