Another incident of fire on vessel with Indian crew off the Oman coast has come to the fore. The bitumen carrier, MT Jalveer, had 20 crew members aboard. Five of them were rescued by passing vehicles and taken to Oman, reported Mehr news agency.
Earlier on Wednesday, three Indians were killed in a US strike on another oil tanker MT Settebello. Before that on Monday, another ship with Indian crew members, MT Marivex, was attacked. While MT Settebello was trying to transport oil from Iran, MT Marivex was attempting to dock at an Iranian port.

The Guinea-Bissau-flagged MT Jalveer was bound for Shinas, Oman.
