The young prodigy played a key role in the Rajasthan Royals’ run to the playoffs and was their most dangerous batter.
He broke Chris Gayle’s age-old record of the most sixes hit by a batter in a single IPL season. He hit a massive 72 sixes in the entire season, taking down bowlers mercilessly. He hit a massive 12 sixes in his playoff knock against the Sunrisers Hyderabad, where he scored 97 runs from just 29 balls, the most sixes hit by a batter in a playoff innings in IPL.
