West Bengal Election Results 2026: The counting of votes for the 294-member West Bengal Assembly elections has begun. Polling was held in two phases on April 23 and 29. According to the Election Commission, the state recorded its highest-ever voter turnout of 92.84 per cent.
Key parties in the fray include the All India Trinamool Congress (AITMC), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Indian National Congress (INC), and the Communist Party of India (Marxist), etc. Among the prominent candidates are Mamata Banerjee, Suvendu Adhikari, and Dilip Ghosh, among others.
