NEW DELHI: A SpiceJet Boeing 737 (VT-SGV) with almost 150 people on board had a cabin pressurisation snag while operating a Delhi-Fujairah flight this Tuesday (March 17). The aircraft landed safely, with no one injured. It was grounded for there checks and resumed flying after the required rectification was carried out. “During descend the aircraft suffered cabin pressurisation snag and there were alerts in the flight deck twice,” said a senior official probing the case.A SpiceJet spokesperson said: “On March 17, 2026, SpiceJet flight SG 5011 operating from Delhi to Fujairah experienced a technical issue during descent. The aircraft landed safely and all passengers disembarked normally. The aircraft was subsequently grounded for necessary checks and maintenance and resumed normal operations the following day.”
