Allu Arjun is teaming up with star director Atlee for a massive pan-India film backed by Sun Pictures. The project is in full swing in pre-production, and the makers are aiming to begin the shoot this summer. Right now, Atlee and his team are working with international VFX experts to finalize the look of Allu Arjun’s characters. They’re being extremely careful to avoid any leaks, but a few key details are already creating a buzz.
The biggest surprise? Allu Arjun will be seen in three different roles in this film.
What’s even more shocking is that one of the roles will be entirely animated, something no Indian hero has done in a full-length movie before. The other two roles? One is the hero and the other is the villain. Each role is said to have a unique treatment, giving the audience three completely different versions of Bunny on screen.
The film promises a Hollywood-style sci-fi experience. It’s not just a new genre for Allu Arjun but also his first-ever science fiction film. The team is not compromising on budget, and the goal is to match international quality in visuals and storytelling.
This is also the first time Sun Pictures is working with a non-Tamil hero, and they are betting big on this collaboration. The plan is to release the movie by end of 2026, but if delays happen, the release may move to Sankranti or Summer 2027.
