The Cannes Film Festival is never just about films–but also the fashion. Indians have been making a strong impression throughout the festival this year.
Netizens’ favourite influencer Nancy Tyagi the same spirit that won hearts last year — but this time, her silver gown felt even more ambitious. She made it herself, once again, and the details showed just how far she’s come.
The gown had a shimmering corset, rose-shaped details along the skirt and back, and layers of tulle that floated as she walked. The bodice hugged her frame with structure and softness all at once, and the headpiece added a touch of theatre.
She followed it up with a second look — a mini dress in her mum’s favourite colour. “Ye colour meri mummy ka favourite hai, isliye iss baar decide kiya ki isi colour mein dress design karun,” Nancy shared on Instagram. “Poora one month laga banane mein… dress kaafi heavy thi.” Despite the effort, she said it was all worth it.
Covered in pearls and fine panel work, the mini dress was delicate and modern — a beautiful contrast to the grandeur of her first look.
The Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives star brought a soft kind of glamour to Cannes in a pastel pink gown. The outfit, chosen from designers Fouad Sarkis and Ornelys Couture, featured a halter neckline and Swarovski crystal detailing. A gentle train followed her as she walked, and a feathered wrap added a bit of whimsy.
She styled it with a blush pink Judith Leiber clutch, earrings with a bow-drop design, and a bold diamond ring. Everything about her look felt graceful and put-together.
Parul Gulati’s debut at Cannes was impossible to miss. Her dress was made entirely from braided hair — a nod to her own brand, Nish Hair, and the identity she’s built around it. Designed by ITRH, the dress was unlike anything else on the red carpet.
The top half of the dress used tight, structured braids to fit her form, while the bottom let the braids fall loose and open. Fans loved it. Some called her “malkin” — her popular nickname — and said she truly owned the moment.
Making her Cannes debut, actor Anushka Sen wore a stunning mermaid-style gown by Duchess Kumari Couture. But this wasn’t just another dress — it was something months in the making, with many pouring their time into it.
“611 hours, 34 karigars, and months of planning,” Anushka wrote on Instagram, thanking everyone involved — her stylist, the designer, photographers, and her fans. She called it a “dream come true,” and said the gown blended Indian embroidery with a modern silhouette.
She paired it with elegant jewellery and heels that let her move with ease, finishing the look with grace and gratitude.
