Team RRR graced the legendary Royal Albert Hall for the film’s live concert. RRR’s music composer, MM Keeravani, who won the coveted Academy Award for the chartbuster Naatu Naatu song, performed the film’s score live in association with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
The evening was even more memorable as hundreds of fans got to witness the warm friendship between RRR’s lead actors, NTR and Ram Charan. Amidst the loud cheers of fans, NTR made a few wonderful statements about the Oscar-winning Naatu Naatu song.
“The day the Naatu Naatu song won the Oscar, all the pain and all the torture our director put us through just vanished in a second. Naatu Naatu will be remembered not because it won the Oscar or because of the pain we went through, but I’ll remember Naatu Naatu for having shared the screen with an amazing friend of mine (Ram Charan). He’s a fabulous dancer,” NTR said, as fans kept cheering crazily.
NTR took fans’ excitement to the next level, saying, “You know, his father (Chiranjeevi) was one of the greatest dancers, and even my uncle (Balakrishna) was also a very good dancer. I think Naatu Naatu will be a memory if his father and my uncle danced to the song – two fabulous dancers together,” RRR’s Komuram Bheem said amidst “Megastar” and “Jai Balayya” slogans.
– “Naatu Naatu will always feel like a glimpse of what it would be like if garu and babai danced together.”
