The 2025 edition of MET Gala is currently ongoing, and stars have been serving ‘lewks’ left and right. The Indian stars, namely Shah Rukh Khan, Kiara Advani, Diljit Dosanjh and Priyanka Chopra Jonas have also walked the blue carpet in style. While we gushed over their sartorial choices for the night, we couldn’t help but notice similarities between Kiara’s dramatic ensemble, with one of Sonam Kapoor’s previous looks.
Both Kiara and Sonam clearly understood the assignment and then rewrote the syllabus. While Kiara’s MET Gala debut was a golden ode to maternity, strength and art, Sonam’s earlier look was a masterclass in sculptural drama with a modern twist. They owned their looks with confidence.
